Key information about CA Intermediate

CA Intermediate is the second level of the Chartered Accountancy course by ICAI. Candidates who clear both groups of CA Intermediate along with the Articleship requirement become eligible for CA Final.

Important Dates

Exam Date: May and November annually

Application Date: October-November for May attempt; April-May for November attempt

Result Date: August and February annually

Eligibility

Candidates who have passed CA Foundation (or ICAI-recognized direct entry route for Commerce graduates with 55% or graduates in other disciplines with 60%).

Exam Pattern

Sections: Advanced Accounting, Corporate and Other Laws, Taxation, Cost and Management Accounting, Auditing and Ethics, Financial Management & Strategic Management

Total Marks: 600

Duration: 18 hours (6 papers × 3 hours each)
